View Full Version : Good result, but we are still light years away from winning trophies

And the presence of banners among the loyal away following (and in the face of bully-boy tactics which show AKBs' for the intolerant lot they are) shows that the fans are increasingly coming to the conclusion that change is now inevitable.

with £50 to charity from whichever of us has personally abused the other the most.

convince other fans that you are in a majority which is ridiculous; for example, in the recent demonstration by the black scarves there were only about 50 people, what did you think about that?

There were between 700 and 1000, by every single account. Actually, I think the black scarf movement are too unfocussed and need a clearer agenda. By avoiding the 'elephant in the room' (Wenger) because they think it makes them a broader chuch they are actually doing themselves no favours

Look YOM, both sides dish out abuse overall, but not all posters do. I have politely tried to engage you in genuine debate time and time again, but you persistently refuse to do so.

Apart from anything else, the continuous and repeated rattle-out-of-the-pram broken record about trophies is, in my view, an insult to the intelligence.

accept it?

Of course I wouldn't. If you google the recent march you will get countless references to the numbers from various sources, not to mention photos and videos. Some of them estimate well over 1,000 - none anything like your fantasy figures.

Though as YOM says, some of those people are marching for more flexible ticketing options.

Back to one-word abuse, when your logic is exposed as flawed and your facts as simply wrong.

Sacking wenger was restricted to the lunatic fringe, a very, very small minority.

I dont think anyone could claim the same today. You cant seriously be trying to suggest that it is only a tiny minority who are dissatisfied with the club? Surely?

being a Wenger apologist.

I just don't 'get' broken record moaning about the team, players, manager, etc

the worst case scenario i.e. 1,000 fans, that is under 2% of our usual attendances

So why argue over the numbers rather than the issue?

Among the fans is that things are heading in that direction.

Of course, change doesnt necessarily mean wenger out.....

Do you honestly think more fans are not dissatisfied now than a year ago?

Otherwise, sorry, but tht is the direction. And the longer this continues, the worse it will get.

However, if you are asking the question are there fans that are concerned then of course there are, I am concerned and I would like to see a few squad changes, much better players are needed
