Dear AWIMB,
The final results are in and calculated. This year I received an amazing 3721 votes from AWIMBERs. Pretty spectacular and thank you very much for taking part. So without further ado here are the RESULTS of the 2012 AWIMBS:

As with all previous AWIMBs this category will no go to a public POLL to decide the winner. The poll is 100 votes and has a 3 day time limit. Whoever is in front when either of those two criteria are reached will be declared the winner:

Well done Monty. Quite a popular category as he only won this 28% of the vote.
3. AWIMB BEST SUPPORTING POSTER
Marvellous Marve
A clear cut win for Marve who won this by over 400 votes.
4. AWIMB FEMALE POSTER OF THE YEAR

Well done MAZ who finally ends the domination of Sarah Ashley Harkinson.
5. AWIMB NOVICE POSTER AWARD (restricted to new posters for 2012 only)

Always a nice category and our new arrival Jungleman who is actually Dan Cates the professional poker player was deemed to be the best new poster on AWIMB.
Dan recently moved here from the States and was having problems getting tickets for Arsenal. He someone found Marve and the rest is history.

Now residing in the US, Club Level, has really added more weight to the Overseas Awimb Community. He was the overwhelming winner in this category with 62% of the votes all for him.

9. AWIMB LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

An open category where anyone can be nominated saw recently retired No2 Pat Rice win this award. Congratualtions PAT on a all that you've given to Arsenal down the years...both as a player and as a coach.
10. BANNED AWIMBER OF THE YEAR
John Bunnell
There weren't that much votes in this category. Only 72. But John Bunnell won it. I must've missed it but when was he banned?
11. THE GOLDEN KNOB AWARD for The AWIMB MUG OF THE YEAR TROPHY

Well I'm fairly out of touch with AWIMBs because I've no idea what Gunner Since Time Began did to win this award...and win he did...in spades. There was a 261 vote gap back to the person in 2nd.

Fairly disappointing category for me as I hoped *****FREE MONEY **** would win but the official winner was infact this beauty of a post from Herbert Chapman that won by less than 100 votes:

I think the depth of loyalty that people like Nic show is what makes fascism possible. If AW told Nic it was necessary to start herding people into the gas chambers, he would oblige.

There were 2 votes for Halo 4 and 1 for Far Cry 3. Very funny guys.

A close category with Keiren Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson picking up a lot of votes but it was Alex who came out best of the lot!!!!

After a torrid first half of the year and wild accusations of multi accounting on AWIMB, MODD finally called it day. He won this category with 82% of the votes.

Last year saw Fatneck and Greg Mitchell become the first 2 inductees into the AWIMB HALL OF FAME and I'm please to announce that our 3 inductee is DR HEADGEAR.
It would seem the good Dr no longer frequents his old stomping ground and he's sorely missed!!!!
