that he is asking for .

If Ramsey is worth 40k a week then Walcott must be worth 85k .
Ramsey is just another of those Denilson, Bendtner, Chamakh, Squelchy , Gervinho and so on types ,that are typical Arsene signings based purely on his ott optimistic views of them.

Getting Jack the lad to commit himself to a contract is obviously good business, at least we will get something for him in the future when he decides that just picking up wages is not enough.
He's already said that 4th place in the league is not what he aspires to achieving.

that most on here were slagging the very same player off until recently, many with that old "MEH" chestnut about him going. Now after one good game he is our saviour. The club does need to change its policy a bit & has admitted that but not to the extent that players & agents dictate. Let the Man City's & Chelsea's of this world play that game.

but he's also contributed more than many others have.

slagged him off?

I'm amazed by how many 'keep Theo at all costs' people are suddenly around when the prevailing view for so many years was that he was somewhere between not good enough and a useless ********.

As Ramsey has struggled a bit to find his best form he has been filed away as somewhere between not good enough and a useless ********. If he suddenly flowered into a potent weapon demanding to be the clubs highest paid player (as Walcott is) would all these people be insisting that the club meet his demands too?

him 100k, will, no doubt, be using his inflated wages as a means to attack Wenger when Walcott proves to be infuriatingly mercurial. Again.

but still contributes more than many others do.
It makes sense to offer his agent the money that he demands, for a number of reasons. One it gets Wenger off the hook, because then he can't be blamed other than on the not winning anything claims.

If the wages are removed from the equation and Walcott still wants out then there is nothing that can be done about it .
