Dutch legend Johan Cruyff has offered words of support to underfire Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Indeed, Cruyff says Wenger's approach to the game is what the modern-day Ajax should model themselves on.
"The work of Wenger at Arsenal is an example for Ajax of how to do it," said Cruyff. "He's not fooled by distractions, but does what he does best. That is, coaching, efficient scouting and sharp purchases and sales.
"Then it can happen you have to deal with a relapse, as is the case with Arsenal, but eventually by this formula you always come out on top.
"Therefore I cannot imagine that the position of Wenger is now under discussion because he has organized the club so that problems are always solved."
