The players don’t take any responsibility for their mistakes and they hide behind a manager who doesn’t publically criticise them. But ultimately it is him who picks them and can’t get them to stop making basic errors on the pitch. We need the player to take more responsibility.

Last night Vermaelen continually gave away stupid freekicks. One that lead to the goal. The same thing happened in the Chelsea home game.

Bardford's player basically tapped it in unmarked from a set piece, he was standing almost in the middle of our box. Remember Blackburn away last season where Samba was able to control the ball unmarked and put it back in for the goal? Remember Berbatov’s goal this season from a corner unmarked in the middle of the box. How many f**king times?

You could argue that all goals come from some sort of mistake but some of these are ridiculous and they’ll keep happening throughout the season

Michu’s for Swansea – Vermaelen trying to nick the ball off him instead of standing up and defending

Fellaini’s at Everton – Sagna gives the ball away and then clears straight to him. A goal gifted to them

Lescott for Man City - Mannone in no man’s land from a corner

Holt for Norwich – Mannone parry right across goal to Holt’s feet
Van Persie – Vermaelen like a scared rabbit with a bad clearance

Adebayor – Mertesacker caught high up the pitch , too easy for Defoe

Torres Cheslea – defensive line not high enough

Mata Chelsea – needless freekick given away by Vermaelen ? Or was that Torres goal
