They were so advanced they used the Gregorian calendar and 24hr clock hundreds of years before they were invented.

It won't culminate in last nights result. We still have the ignomy of a couple more cup exits and an outside of the top 4 finish to experience http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif

He's probably realising that himself these days.
Nothing worse than watching a legend crumble. It's Ali Vs Foreman, Cloughie, Laurel and Hardys last film

a year and a bit after they sacked a man who had won the double not 12 months earlier, the current champions could pull the trigger on a manager who won them their first trophies in colour, the current England manager was given about 30 seconds in one of his previous jobs before they decided they didn't like the cut of his jib and Alan Pardew has been awarded an 8-year contract. Quite frankly, if you are stuck in a madhouse, it seems slightly preferable to be one of the nutters than one of the sane ones *

But you're right. It would be mean spirited to deny the achievement.
But as you know, my reasons for change aren't purely based on success and failure on the field. I just want change, it's all got a bit stale and despite finishing third last year, we really have lost the art of building a platform from which to develop the next generation.
