1 Wojciech Szczesny - 7 Nothing he could do about the goal & saved two pens
3 Bacary Sagna – 6 Looks like he is getting back to fitness & you can see he has class. Will he stay?
4 Per Mertesacker – 6 Fairly solid
5 Thomas Vermaelen – 7 One of the better performances, real effort, scored but missed a pen.
28 Kieran Gibbs – 5 Still not convinced he is the answer at left back. I want him to be as he cares, I think.
19 Santi Cazorla – 6 Hit the bar, full of tricks but not as effective on a frozen pitch as he can be.
16 Aaron Ramsey – 3 Looks like he will never recover from his broken leg, pretty dreadful display. Winger anyone?
10 Jack Wilshere – 8 Ran his heart out, showed the spirit of a home grown player. Clearly a future captain let’s just hope we can hang on to him in a few years time otherwise we really will be in the ****.
9 Lukas Podolski – 3 Lacking in effort, looks like a “star” player on the wane, different player when he pulls a German shirt on.
22 Francis Coquelin – 5 Plenty of effort, hit the post but is he the answer? Squad player at best.
27 Yao Gervinho – 2 Headless chicken he most certainly is. Terrible final ball when we were in good positions, dreadful miss from 3 yards. Our striker – REALLY????

15 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 5 Plenty of effort, showed that he wanted to be there. Good pen but final ball not great. Should have started perhaps.
