View Full Version : It increasingly looks like a fit Rosicky will be Wenger's saviour this season..

He moves the ball fast, gets his team mates into play far more often and owns a scoring boot himself. All this provided ofcourse AW gets a half decent striker ....

Flamini was in such blazing form, that AW even forgot he had a contract that needed to be signed...and he sold that mental lad Lass Diarra

in the CL spot.Over the past seasons that includes, Henry, RVP, Cesc and even Rosicky. Needless to add they depart as they soon become exhausted and fed up...

a squad of quality players and generally having a good eye for talent?

Having a good player come in and bail you out isn't lucky - not if you put the guy in the squad in the first place (and especially if you persisted with him when most would've given up)

I know it's fashionable to pick on dear old Arsene at the moment but you're onto a bit of a loser on this one imo

carrying the bulk of the burden cannot go on and on.. It is a phenomenon of the recent seasons..It didnt happen between 98-2005. Liverpool were close to winning the title with Gerrard and Torres. There would come a time where the law of averages is bound to catch up and luck would eventually run out (or the previous good Karma would eventually be exhausted, if you believe in that)

You used the word 'lucky'. Buying quality players for bugger all is not lucky. It's a skill.

Yes, of course it's not ideal to rely on one or two players for an entire season but -if you hadn't noticed - we're not exactly flush with cash when it comes to buying players
