with no money, no job, no short term potential of achieving anything....but atleast has a beautiful, understanding and supporting wife, both mentality and economically.

he then thinks about his future.....

and comes to the conclusion, that he need to get rid of this woman because she is holding him back, planing without her he could become a billionaire with 24 months. you can imagine where he'll end up

arsenal = sh.te owner, sh.te board, sh.te squad, but atleast they have a world class manager who keeps them in the top 4 year in year out without spending any money. you can imagine where the club will go if they sack him.

You must ask, why would Wenger say he has money to spend if he doesn't???

you do understand that our current economic model depends on wenger keeping us in the CL without spending. sacking wenger probably means us missing out on the CL and our current economic model collapsing.

which means korenke will sell the club to usmanov.....now if you're pro usmanov, its ok...i just cant see why anyone who's against usmanov buying the club thinks sacking wenger is a good idea

shore up the squad when he had the chance and it means we can't even do simple things well. need someone with less drama attached.

the board are ****e, the owner is ****e, the squad is ****e that you posted. Seriously, you know nothing about running a football club http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif

he had the best dortmund side in their history, a young and improving team at club rapidly becoming richer, they will dominate german and european football for the next 3-4 years...why would he leave that to a club with an average squad, demanding fans and no real money to change the quality of the players....and ruin his reputation?

maybe in 4-5 years when he needs a new challenge and has an established name....i can see it...never now..

don't think we are a club with no money. To stop other clubs from thinking we are broke and ripe for picking off our best players at a cut-down price.

There's three without me even thinking.

I mean, he knew what he was signing up for and gets paid a ton, so it's hard to feel sorry for the guy.

But then again, he took on the challenge of no-money and embarked on an ambitious youth development program that would grow a world class team. But then quite a lot didn't pan out (remember all the buzz about our promising youths?) and the ones who did showed no loyalty to Wenger and left for more money. (which I don't fault, because the club would get rid of them in a heartbeat as soon as they had a better option for that position.)

Wenger tried something huge and it didn't work. Yet he still managed to keep us pretty competitive. (I still believe we'd have won the league if either Eduardo had not had his leg broken or if the refs had called penalties properly in our run-in.)

But yeah. We have an average squad with a Board that views the team as merely part of the business not really the driver of it.

We'll see if they are wrong soon enough.

"But on these results, I am reminded of my earlier prediction:
Not Arsene, but the board. This year has effectively been written off by the board and Kroenke. How can you ask the players to give 100% when you haven't as owners? It sets the wrong culture."

is based on us qualifying to the CL as we're relying on the tv money, exposure, commercials from the CL.

.....and anybody who can read and saw our financial report last year saw, we didnt even make money, we lost money despite being in the CL...the sales from the highbury project gave the club some needed money

its not my problem if your gonna live in denial and pretend that we'll be fine without the CL....drastic changes will have to be made, much smaller wage bill, and even less money to spend on the squad....i dont know what your argument is really.

beside the top 3

spurs, and liverpool are spending much more every season....they will collect their fair share of players and go past us...the only reason we're holding them out is because we have a stable ship, with the same manager who have experience in keeping us in the top 4....while they have been changing managers

In fact, Ken Bates knows more about running football clubs than us

that failed...now we're at state whereby we all know our limits with the current spending policy.....the next year will be interesting to see how things go....but like you....i have a feeling wenger wont make it...even though he is blameless

Look at Jenkinson for instance.

Koscielney,Chamberlain & Mertesacker all look like good signings.

All managers make bad signing. Liverpool wasted £70m on Henderson, Carroll & Downing.

beside all signings aren't meant to be world class first team regulars...some signings come in to provide cover and thus will never be a club legend...it doesnt mean the're not needed

furthermore....the bracket in which a manager shops is also important...there will be different in quality if you're buying 1, million players , 10 million pound players...or 25 million pound players
