Losing Song has hurt as much as losing RVP. Why was he sold?,Surely not with the thought that made of Glass Diaby would take that role, and playing Arteta in that role is ruining him. Total complete cock up. Arsenal couldnt have needed the money that badly, could they?

I recall thinking during a particular game that he'd become our Roy Keane.

It's only when he didn't play last season people started to say how important he was.

The trusty if only such and such wasn't injured excuse.

he has been excellent. Presumably he has stopped scoring fantasy football points so the kiddies are annoyed. See also "That Cazorla is a bit a show pony isn't he"

but I've grown to love him. Scotty Scott Scott Scott Scott Parker with a football brain What's not to like?

and yet his dad basically said he hates it. No thought of reminding his son that whilst things aren't great at the moment, one day they might be a lot, lot worse, as they have been in the past.

Bet he fúcks the kid too.

Talk about heaping a shedload of guilt on the poor Son.
Subtle he wasn't.

They don't share any of them same traits.

Arteta doesn't have the athletism of Keane or the aggresive physicality like Keane. He's in there for his passing and ball retention.

than most of the rest of the squad ffs

Maybe you can explain why he's labouring around midfield with players running past him. He's one of the players who actually looks 'jaded' to me.

A symptom of the team not playing well as much as anything. Very few of the regular starters are in the squad tonight so it is no surprise. Whether he needs it or not is still up for debate.

Amazing though how when a popular player has a dip in form, he needs a rest, while others just get **** for their performances (I appreciate you weren't making this point, tis a separate one entirely

doesn't mean he can't be tired. He's played 2 matches a week for over a month.

Mikel deserves a holiday http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif

Either way, good that we can rest/not play them for whatever reason tonight.

Some people just have their mind made up on players no matter what they do.
