Garde is definitely an interesting long shot. If Wenger is sacked, rather than going gracefully, I couldn't see them appointing one of his acolytes though. They'll want to start a new chapter.
Bergkamp is definitely worth a punt and follows the trend of recent years of giving untested playing legends major managerial jobs, eg Rijkaard, Guardiola, Klinsmann, Simeone, de Boer etc, etc...
Rangnick, who you mentioned above, is a brilliant, thoughtful manager - the German Wenger - but would never get the job as he struggles to cope with the stress of management. He quit his last post for that reason despite brilliant results.
