Are we just rambling like a bunch of dreamers down the pub saying " Maybe I should dump the Mrs and move that Rachel Stevens bird in" http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/rubchin.gif

have any pressure on him. If he believes he can make good our squad (which isn't that bad and needs a few additions) i'm sure he would take it.

What makes people think he'll want to manage us with our selling policy.

make the Arsenal job perfect for him. Absolutely no pressure at all.

No real need for him to ever put his reputation on the line.

so no attachments. Though Wenger is arguably only failing if we finish below 4th, which he's yet to do.

Could go through a period of changing the manager more frequently in future.

At one club, I mean, of course.

If there wasn't a manager who'd been at a club for 25 years, there'd be more of a clamour for change because it would be assumed he'd long run his course. Though lower scale you also have have the likes of Dario Gradi and Guy Roux.

But to repeat, he's only properly failing by doing something he's failed to do so far, finish outside the top 4. Longevity issues or not, he's still got us top 4 every year.

If that changes this season, could also argue his overall record entitles him to one more season.
