And that plan failed also.

So he's come to Arsenal and after winning trophies decided to re-introduce the Monaco experiment.....the last 8 years are testimony to it's failure....

megastars but turned them into world class players, most notably George Weah, Djorkaeff, Thuram, Petit etc. Then got in some more-ready made stars such Hoddle, Klinsmann etc.

But after all the above were either sold for big money, he then embarked on a rther similar youth project with loads of players from AFrica. The decline in quality, added to Marseille buying a few titles along the way, didn't help and after 2-3 seasons og going nowhere was ruthlessly sacked.
