Maybe he stays another six months or 18 months or more, but... today is the tipping point where gooners will see where we are finally at.

The decline has been constant for the last seven years, but also so slow that it's hard to notice.

There are no excuses left.

Wenger has created the finest team in the history of The Arsenal.

What did he do next? He spent the best part of a decade destroying his own empire piece-by-piece. It's desperately sad, but he has to go.

my only question is, what are our aims with the new manager? what do we want/expect?

That's the hardest thing and the reason we'll probably keep drifting along with Wenger.

We've had so long with one of football's great intellectuals and purists - maybe only behind Bielsa at Bilbao and Pep.

Personally, I think we need more of a pragmatist - 60% Wenger and 40% George Graham, I guess.

His name is Jürgen Klopp.
