Does anyone have any experience of this concept (something to do with consumer perception of purchase alternatives) outside of academic *******s and in the real commercial world?

Academics are actually really **** at explaining things, aren't they? In fact, their whole existence and everything they write is to demonstrate how much they know about what other academics are saying rather than communicating something useful to ordinary, intelligent people doing real jobs.

Yes, I have googled it, btw, before someone helpfully posts the top link on the search results. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/thumbup.gif

I have a feeling that this topic will be a massive fùcking http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/tumbleweed.gif

I'm a burger-flipper by trade. I only research data-driven marketing strategies in my spare time.
