even though he wasted a billion on chelsea, his wealth is increasing. it doesn't look like he is going away any time soon

spend that kind of money, even if it's the only way of is competing. I would rather we won nothing ever again.

Chelsea are a joke with the way they manage their club. Trophies ain't the reason I support a football club.

Even if it means we were left out of a breakaway super league, i'd rather maintain the status quo.

An abbreviation of 'are not'.

so our moral highground is precarious, but as long as we operate a coherent squad development strategy and spend what we earn then i'm happy.

abramovic cannot spend money forever, he clearly can, in 2003 some arsenal fans argued he wont be there more than 3 or 4 years.

i personally want a driving and visionary character in the club rather than billions spent. some one like david dein, god bless his soul.

he was involved with arsenal for 25 years and moved this club forward so much its unreal.

he was involved in the creation of the premier league and the CL, he made arsenal a member of the then g14 clubs as the only club that didnt win the european cup.

he was involved in the hiring of wenger and made arsenal sure we got our fair share of commercial revenues. he pushed wenger in signing players like sol campbell who we would never sign without david dein.

an ambitious and talented man like david dein is what we lack. we now have in charge a passive owner who doesnt know what to do with the club and his spokesman ivan gazidis who simply makes sure the status quo is preserved while arsenal are repaying the stadium debt.

Slug. His son has been at the heart of the departures of our best players and the man himself is a suspicious shade of bright orange.

and has ideas to move the club forward, 1 or 2 of your ideas are bound to be stupid, but history proves most david dein's ideas was good for us and was the reason why when liverpool took a nap in the early 1990s and talked about their bootroom nonsense, we were moving forward.

looks to me we took that nap in 2007.

beside we have ppl in charge who have no ideas, no footballing vision and are simply waiting for the club to be debt free and thus more worth when its sold.

Denied by the one dimensional spend all approach of a bloke who ruins the concept of real competition, just because he can.

At least he was primarily a footballing man and a sounding board for Arsene too.

Within two years he played a part in delivering us Wenger and Bergkamp.

Apart from the fact that one of them owns a third of our club.
