Sure, it was never going to be as good as the novel. Very few things are, it's a tremendous achievement to think of such a narrative, never mind put it down on paper and then draw it so beautifully.
Also, some beautiful shots straight out of the pages of the novel.
Class stuff from Snyder, I knew he had talent when he remade Dawn of the Dead and it was actually rather good.

It is the best comic book adaptation film, possibly because it is not really a comic book adaptation, but you know just class.

I didnt like Constantine the film so much, the original character was actually a londoner, he first appeared in Swamp Thing.

It's about a Glaswegian who has a delusion that he's a Humphrey Bogart character, good stuff.
They made a T.V film of it with Robbie Coltrane as The Bogie Man and Midge Ure was the baddie.
