I can only speak from Nexus point of view and I am really happy with it and definitely value for money

the Nexus is a brilliant device. If you want an overpriced fashion accessarie the IPAD is for you. I've got one and the Apple is too restrictive IMO. No flash player, no SD card slot for expansion etc.
