How many holidays to try to have a year?

I did 2 trips last year. and only 1 so far this year but going away in December then in feb.

I have a lot of places I want to go but I want to do some of them quickly and maybe see as many cities/towns as possible during the trip.

and the majority of the time they speak to me in English and I get lazy and use English back.

I suppose that's the problem with going to a tourist trap, not much scope for having to use Spanish or going hungry.

When you are trying to speak the native language and they just come back to you in English. I appreciate they are trying to be nice as their English is obviously much better than your Spanish, but I need to have a practice please!!

Having said that it only rained about 3 times in the 10 days I was there last summer.

It's quite scenic, and remote. Very remote.
