So, then with this blank slate, what would you do?

I mean, let's just say for a minute that - stay with me here - somebody trusted you enough to put you in charge of something other than your own bowels.

I know it's not as much fun as spending like mad, hiring manager after manager only to sack them when they dont reach your arbitrary points total, going bankrupt and dropping down a couple of divisions but I reckon it's actually the best thing for the long run.

Is that you, Shebby Singh?

Obviously I hope they've perished along with their **** children in a spate of house fires, but if they've merely chucked their season tickets in I'll be pretty pleased too.

Frenzy. I imagine them ripping off their bedsheets and painting 'in Arsene we rust' on them, before parading it down heir street wearing a bin bag and a black scarf

Maybe we can start playing in blue, get a racist for a captain and change our manager every year. Yes, that is what football's all about http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/bow.gif

And were a fluffed Henry chance away from beating Barcelona. With 10 men

So although it is completely meaningless because we didn't *actually* beat them, it shows that it isn't a completely failing regime/approach

at least chelsea is the play thing for an oligarch, their fans will have fun and when he leaves they will go back to their natural position, what have they lost?

...what are we? we basically exist to make sure an american billionaire can spend zero cash and sell the club when the stadium debt is repaid for 500 million in gain.

i hear how proud gooners do not want usmanov because they worry what would happen to us if he leaves.

yet the same ppl are convinced arsenal do not need an oligarch to compete, which is a contradiction. if usmanov comes for a 10 year period spend some money and leaves when his had enough, we would go back to our natural position which would be a strong position, according to these ppl, so what is the problem?

we're not the toy of an oligarch like chelsea and we're not the business of an aggressive maffia like the glazars. we're something much worse, we exist to secure future millions for a boring, unambitious, clueless coward like korenke.

all the sentimental gooners who imagine the classy arsenal from the past are in dream land. this is not the arsenal of my grandfather or my father.
