Can you still use an iPhone without a simcard? as in the iPod and the apps etc?

I could keep the iPhone for a bit and still use some of the apps and the music. as i don't want to lose a lot of stuff I've already purchased.

I might buy a iPod touch again in the future and put my stuff on that. It's like going backwards. I started off with the original iPod touch. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/cloudnine.gif then it became useless as you couldn't upgrade the software after a certain point and no apps would work on the lower software.

Always a shocker to me. I ws driving when I was 10. Well, it was a tractor, but still.

As you know it is a rite of passage here and the country is built that way.

I'm confident that with a modicum of effort you could learn. Of course I have always assumed you aren't a total gimp.

FOr not driving though, NOLA is great. Charleston, SC is also a good place for non-drivers. It's like NOLA but without the sidewalks lined with last night's vomit.
