I'm sure they told him he'd be a withdrawn Rooney type or he wouldn't have come. Wenger does this and it sows dissension.

he lacks the energy to be effective there and has difficulties going past player with pace or skill.

wenger needs to grow a pair and either bench him or play him upfront...he cant continue forcing an issue because he doesnt want to bench a player he just bought

expert on the German national side but did most of his goals from his early days come with him playing down the middle? I don't think he always played on the left for them. Actually, i seem to remember him partnering Klose.

figures. What surprised me was seeing that Clinton's surplus was actually unprecedented in the modern era. I, along with many others, had always assumed America was usually in the black.

I suppose, as you allude to, he was just too busy wasting cigars on Monica's growler to actually spend any money.

at the bottom. If Diaby is revived put him in the middle and Arteta at the bottom.

average players into world class winners by a blend of horse-whispering and position changing.

at the bottom of the diamond. I remembered how eager you were to see Djourou get a chance there http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/indifferent.gif

433 was invented by the dutch in the 70s, the idea was for your 2 winger to be extra offensive and attack their fullbacks, to keep the balance of the team, they sacrificed a striker.

so the key here is wingers with pace and skill. we cant chuck midfielders or finishers there and expect a free flowing balanced attack, this is why we see what wenger calls handbrake football.

ironically waclott has the tools to execute the wing role in 433 but the deluded lad believes he's a striker, well he's not in a 433.

He's certainly started shirking his defensive duties in recent games which he wasn't doing early season, so wouldn't be hard to believe.

In the interview he did when he signed he said he would play anywhere the manager wanted and that he enjoyed playing on the left or up front. Obvious answer but I wonder what's changed.

He worked very hard v Liverpool this season there. His workrate seems to have deteriorated.

pushed him over the edge. He probably didn't mind doing it for Germany every now and then when he knew he was going back to his club to play down the middle after it. Now he's on the left every week he's probably f**kedd off with it.

i am a great supporter of him, but he needs to bring balance to his team in the January transfer window, the front 3 and the 3 in the middle needs to be structured better.

ts funny how the defence is the most stable part of our team

and chasing back eager f.ckers week in week out in the premiership is not the same thing. the man looks shattered after 30 minutes every time he plays http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif
