I thought when Podolski kicked the ball out - and got his yellow - it was because play was stopped for an injured German. Was distracted watching the match, but it seemed like Schalke didn't give the ball back, but rather played it forward as a goal kick and retained possession for several minutes of pressure, leading to the 2nd goal. Should Schalke have given the ball back instead of pressing for a goal?
