Nothing really against Jack but it seems to me that we have at least one too many midfielders who look to pass to each other first, rather than the forward/forwards. I reckon this is why we often seem to be outnumbered in attack and too easy to get at at the back as well.

Giroud's movement is good but it's almost as though he's actually playing as an extra centre-back for the opposition sometimes, such is our reluctance to risk passing the ball near him. And as we know, good attacking play is all about risk-taking.
