The key difference here is Talk Talk will most definitely lose me as a customer over this. Give me something I don't want, need or have asked for and charge me more than it is worth by their own market rates.

It still annoys me that you have to pay to have a landline phone to be able to have broadband. I have never once used my home phone and never given the number to anyone. Yet I still have to pay £14.50 a month for that.

You can have your landline with BT and your broadband with Sky if you want.

But you need to pay someone a landline before giving anyone your broadband business.

And don't even think about winding me up when you know I am fuming about something...
