Now there seems to be very little difference cost wise between a iphone 4s or iphone 5, whihc is the better choice?
Would an older version do? This is a gift for the other half for chrimbo & yes I am tight!

and use apps. it can be annoying when you switch between running apps and it lags for a few seconds

The screen is longer and the resolution is better. The battery is better too

So I suspect a split second lag between apps is unlikely to annoy Dorset at all.
