and how much if we gave them our Marouane in part ex?

If you're thinking of Fellaini, then Everton are in the top four and they'd never want Chamakh in part exchange. Everton might be skint, but they rarely sell cheap. If they did, then we'd probably already have Jagielka or Baines on our books. Fellaini though would surely be 20m plus... There'd also be an auction as everyone would want him - it wouldn't surprise me if he cost 30m if city and Chelsea were keen.

Who else qualifies as the best player outside the top four? Bale? Suarez? Gerrard? Ben Arfa? Cissé? Ba? Zaha?

A confused mate who follows Palace for his sins, reckons Zaha has twice the talent of Wrighty. Zaha doen't seem to be scoring all that many goals given his talent, but he is playing on the wing at the moment.

Anyway at Zaha's current age, Wright was still playing for Ten Em Bee in the London & Kent Border League and was being watched by Dulwich Hamlet!

It is positively encouraged by some clubs

We shouldn't not buy a player because it will upset one of the current players. If he improves the team / squad and is within budget, do it.

Exactly. Agree with Peeler that he'd be a perfect signing. He's also the kind of player that the fans would identify with.

The two aces we DO have, which might persuade Fellaini to come to us, are Arteta and Vermaelen. Here's hoping...

player out first.

Having two players on £50,000 a week (one of which who never plays) is akin to having a £100,000 a week player who could potentially had a lot more value to the team.

To be fair, the boy's a triffic fella, triffic. Arry can take im to QPR when he takes over from Hughes in January and starts his latest transfer winow supermarket sweep.

the signing of Chamakh. They were meant to have offered him far more money than we had. AWIMB was not happy.

Shame it wasn't true http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/frown.gif

A £20m fee and wages of £100k pw is within our budget. To be honest though I'd be inclined to spend our money elsewhere as much as I rate Fellani. We need another forward.

Mind you, we just played one of the best teams in the world and only lost 2-1. That's not too bad.

at the moment. Whether we have someone to put them away on a regular basis is still to be seen

I think he'll be very good for us. What we do when he's injured I am not sure. Probably play Podolski where he's supposed to play, I guess.

player than Giroud. You can see that already in his Arsenal career. He actually looks like a footballer and has a powerful strike on him http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif

and he's the type of player that needs quality service.

Still adapting to English football too, I've seen enough in those games in particular to think he's worth persevering with
