View Full Version : I like how bilbao have been resting Llorente for us by leaving him on the bench all the time.

He'll be fresh and raring to go in January http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/cloudnine.gif

I'm assuming Llorente is slow without ever having watched him btw

Demba Ba would be one, or Benzema http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/cloudnine.gif

So his head would be down pretty much permanently with us http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/cry.gif

Ba would be a great shout, but you know his injury-proneness would kick in as soon as he signed.

Would it be too much to ask for Edinson Cavani??

think spending huge on someone like that or Falcao would be worth it. 30 goals a season guaranteed.

Would bankrupt us, sadly

I still think Giroud will come good, but he needs our wingers to stop being so utterly gash

We need some rigidity in front of the centre halves, it's pointless trying to make two players somehow do the work that could or should be done by one player who's actually suited to it. It's leaving us short further forward in the midfield too.

Chasing the game, we actually had some tempo and put some decent crosses in for him. He looks rather decent when he's given a ball he can attack http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/rubchin.gif

Apart from injury worries he would be very low risk I reckon

We are lacking a bit of pace throughout the team, however there is a lack of players making runs from midfield getting ahead of the ball. You can play with a slower striker if you have movement from other areas.

it more than they would cut inside and play it across the box.

We could definitely benefit from a striker with pace who could actually play a bit of give and go

Just imagine him and Giroud hugging in celebration, or for anything else http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/cloudnine.gif

but we are not getting enough support from midfield. A strker with pace will still need support from behind him, he won't be able to do it all alone. We need to get the balance in midfield right as a priority. You will probably find our slower strikers will have a bit more space to operate in.

much football there.

Actually, I blame you for this. And possibly Steve Williams as well.
