I've thought long and hard about this. But I feel it's time for a change. Wenger out. Feel a bit dirty. But enough.

He wasn't that much of an ostrich, from what I remember, but he was very blinkered with all things concerning Arsenal.

By the time Wenger finally does goes, even Nicosia will have called for his head http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif

I hope he'd shed some light on that huge pile of cash rotting in the bank. Even long term CDs ain't that attractive today.

don't understand that Wenger's value on a player is his own. Say he rates a player a 5 million pound player, .. well he won't pay a pound more. So when the Arabs and Russians inflate the market he goes in a different direction, to where they aren't.

Now they are also in that "emerging" market, so he is stuck.

The board supports him 100%, but he won't pay over what he thinks the value of a certain player is.

If he rates Song at $10mm, say, and Barca offers $15mm, SOLD!

but he will not pay up for a "name" player. He's an auction buyer, a cheapskate.

The board is willing to spend a lot more, imo.
