"I’m disappointed of course, because we had a lot of the ball but we were not very efficient in our final third or in their final third. You feel it was a bit [of] an illusionary domination. We had a lot of the ball but they created more chances and deserved to win the game. Part of that is down to the fact that we gave an early goal away. In a game like that, that’s a massive advantage [for Manchester United]. Then they defended well, were sharper than us in the duels and the consequence is you lose the game."

Just a case of him trying to over intellectualize things when a simple "we we're a bit ****e" would have sufficed.

string together several dickless passing moves which, if looking at possession stats, can give the 'illusion' of domination. I think he concedes they were the better team.

Yes, in another interview he alo claimed that "We had the better chances"...

This crap about "illusional domination" is getting bizarre though - he's mentioned this a few times. It's some kind of deflection, suggesting we dominate games, but then 'humly' implying we're not using that domination effectively. The fact is that of late, and especially not today, we haven't dominated. We haven't had possession, haven't passed the ball and haven't created chances. There is NO domnation, illusionary or otherwise.

The game is up. Before we could claim possession without enough penetration or end-product - now we don't even have that possession...

There was clear cut domination.

Man U had more chances than they did when they won 8-2 and Arsenal had fewer chances.

It was the most one sided 2-1 I've ever seen. Game over after 3 minutes

Arsenal "supporters" who take much pleasure in deriding those who dare sing or chant, or, indeed, make ANY noise. We have a fair few of those ****ers on this board, posing as level-headed aficionados http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/****er.gif
