but we've still spent an awful lot of money and most of it on at the worst utter ****e and at best just not good enough. Obvious exceptions of course but to say Giroud was RVP's replacement and then doesn't even play him. What's that all about?

Podolski may not play as the central striker, but a replacement does not have to be absolutely like for like.

I think you would find it hard to argue that any player at Arsenal is "Utter ****e", even Neg would find it hard to argue Djourou is "Utter ****e"

Not good enough for our perceived views of Arsenal as a team/club possibly, but I'm not having it that anyone on the payroll is "Utter ****e"

Flashes of brilliance with lots of mediocre performances.

To be fair to Giroud, Norwich apart, he's always looked a decent player.

I think we all know who they are. The manager buys them and then doesn't play them. We can't get rid of them, no one wants them. We have limited resources and I think we could use it better. Prick etc.

but we have players he just doesn't fancy anymore, he doesn't want to play them. They don't make the bench, he'll put s 17 yo on the bench because he's is either better or more interested than a season pro on f**k knows how much.

reread this post properly, yes utter ****e is ott but not better than we have been used to.

I would argue there are quite a few employed by the club that I would deem sub standard, but in the main they have been signed for next to nothing (wages are a different matter, but the club are supposedly looking to rectify that going forward).
