1. Ivan and Arsene gave very good speeches at the AGM. Speeches in which they talked a lot of sense. Gazidiz mentioned that some supporters take finishing 3rd and being ranked 6th by UEFA for granted, despite us operating under financial constraints that the stadium has caused. It is a remarkable achievement and one which we must thank the manager and players for.

2. As Gazidiz says, the initial deals that actually made the construction of the stadium possible in the first place are now drawing to an end. When Arsenal have the opportunity to re-negotiate them in the next couple of years, we will have significantly more cash income with no additional expenditure. Gazidiz says he is extremely confident that we will be in a position to capitalise on that.

3. We have some of the best young talent (English and otherwise) around at the club and we should continue to harvest that. Hopefully the return of Wilshere and Chamberlain this weekend will give the whole squad a lift and provide the creative spark we need (or at least take the focus off Cazorla).

4. Wenger will almost certainly do it again and get us into the top four despite there being clubs with greater spending power around us (for the time being).

Gazidiz said at the start that an AGM is an ANNUAL General Meeting. The focus being on the Annual. As such, we should consider the achievements of the club in the last year. To finish highest of any other club bar United and City is brilliant. If we can continue to do that, or at least come top four for the next couple of seasons, we can really continue to push on and actually win some trophies. Especially with FFP being enforced on a European scale and the FA starting to make moves to enforce it at a national level.

Fans must realise that it is simply not possible for us to compete with the best for the next two or three seasons. But if the team sticks together under the management of Wenger then we can hopefully tread water until we're actually in a comparatively strong position.

The only issue being that the FFP won't actually work. Citeh have already proved that with the stadium naming fiasco.

the whole world will be put to right, and yet even as I type this the giants of european football are consulting lawyers to goto the european courts to get the ruling overturned, which they may do, bit like the belgian bloke did on his contract. And Arsenal football club are paying advisor and CEO's to come up with this strategy? Hmmmmm. Its as if the former directors and owners of Leeds united have been had drinks with them. No mention of the burden to the fans I notice.

failed. Remember that is phased in gradually.

It's impossible to deny that the club is massively over-achieving and has been for the last few years. We just have to be patient.

I understand your view but it's quite simple minded and you're not really thinking about the bigger picture, imo. You get Usmanov in and he spends and spends. Then FFP comes properly into effect (and mark my words, it will) and we're f**ked. Or even if FFP didn't come in, he'd leave and we'd be REALLY f**ked - doing a Leeds and not being able to sell players because they won't accept realistic salaries.

You have to bear in mind that Arsenal is lucky in that we're actually run by Arsenal fans whereas most clubs aren't. They are also extremely experienced people and now exactly how to make a success.

Just please, please don't think it's worth trading long term stability for short term success. That's what children think.

it might, just might see some competition. Hmmm, no wonder the fans are angry.

by naming a stadium that cost less than 100m to build.

hundred pounds less per year. Even a reduction of £500 a year would save you about £40 a month. It all helps but it's really an insignificant amount.

You must remember that we have the second most expensive stadium in the world to pay off and the business model that we used to secure the finance factors in people paying those prices.

At the end of the day, it's supply and demand - if you don't want to pay it then someone else will. Clubs don't reduce their season ticket prices because we finish 3rd or 4th rather than 1st or 2nd. Even you must realise that's ludicrous.

theres also massive excess waste at the club hugh salaries for Bendtner/Chamakh/Denilson being 3 examples alone. The business that fleeces its customers for money and burns it excessivly is a business that will lose its clients eventually and is poorly run.

take a couple of hours to think about the pros and cons of every way forward the way the board have decided makes easily the most sense.

Wenger simply does not add to the depth. The GK situation is a vivid example. He let Fabianski and Mannone to leave but nobody wanted them so he never moved to sign another one despite knowing they weren't good enough. When WS gets injured for 1 month we are screwed.
