FFP will not work, its the equivalent of putting an adhesive-bandage on a shot person. its UEFA'S last throw at the dice

but it cant work, as its a question of money. the reason the CL was introduced was to prevent a break away european league. eufa gave 4 spots to the big nations rather than the previous 1 spot available for the biggest clubs.

this halted the need for a European league temporary, but not for long, because top clubs understand by breaking away and creating a european league they will negotiate tv rights which gets them maybe up to 20 billion.

they could pocket that money rather than uefa which holds the tv rights for the CL.

this is why billionaire's wants to buy these big clubs, ppl who think city, psg and chelsea owners are going away are mistaken. if anything clubs like milan, inter and probably manchester united will be sold to super rich owners very soon. you have half a dozen east european clubs who already have super rich owners, as will clubs like ajax, liverpool and juventus one day.

thing is eufa cant control sponsorship deals as its against free trading which is a simple way for owners to get around FFP. Uefa cant introduce transfer and wage limits as clubs will take them to the european court. UEFA has no solution to this issue.

rich billionaires however have. they buy these clubs to create a european closed league, once they do that they can introduce transfer and wage limits because it can be controllable as they play in the same league, they will also agree on the rules as they have the same interest which is to share the tv rights money, so no one will take them to court.

this will lead to reduced ticket prices, ie filled stadiums and plenty of sponsors. basically those owners will not only create an economically healthy league but they will make money on from it to.

our current owners are brainwashing ppl that ffp will work to confuse ppl and deflect any attention to their outdated economic model. football is not going back to the 90's which our current economic model belongs to, just like football will never go back to the 80s and 70s.

therefore, ppl who constantly criticise wenger fail to see the bigger picture and wehre we're heading.

Why?

they will agree on transfer and wage caps. just like a private company can pay workers what ever they want as long as its above minimum wage.

however uefa cant force clubs to fallow a specific wage/transfer guidlines, its illegal.

furthermore the fact that they would all play in one league would make it easy for them to make sure their rules are fallowed, just like the NBA/

he never invested in his previous clubs, which is why him and the current board are on the same level.

usmanov beside being the richest man in Britain, is 6 times richer than kroenke.

he is also willing to make heavy investment and even waste a bit of his money.....he bought a private jet for 250 million...few months ago.

all is not bad for kroenke he would make few hundred millions if he sells now, he is already at profit

not when there are about 20 in europe, which we're heading towards.

secondly they know where football is heading which is why they got involved.

an NBA like league will have billionaires sharing the tv rights money and a competitive league to go with. a win-win situation.

rich folk, like the owners of Shakhtar or Arsenal for example. So they would still benefit from having no wage/tranfer limit shirley? Someone with 10 billion in the bank could easily spend £800m on soccer, whereas someone with £2 billion would not.
So why would they want to get out of UEFA to then go an create a level playing field somewhere else in which they are not guaranteed success?

they buy these clubs spend huge money get them to a certain level and then they want a closed europen league.

because they understood the globalisation of the game and the potential in making money fromn asia, africa and south america, which is why they bought them.

once they get a league not only will these clubs be self running, the owners will make money from it. furthermore, because there is a level playing field, your club will always have a chance to do well and compete without you losing money.

the problem is we risk being left behind, if we dont act and compete.

at the moment, chelsea, city and united will definitely get in, in such a league, we are the most likely 4th english club, cant see more than 4 english clubs in it. however that can change, liverpool and tottenham are two potential candidates which for any buyer seem attractive.

the best league to watch. #1 being wage caps. This will do two things - 1) keep the league competitive, so that any team has a chance to win in any year 2) make them money.

So this league will have the biggest teams, the best players, be competitive and profitable.

The question is: are the Arsenal limping along to just be at the tail end of the invited clubs? The risk here is that the clubs invited will be Chelsea, ManU, Man City and perhaps Liverpool. (I think Arsenal are 4th on the list, but there's already a London club involved in Chelsea.) I can't see England being allowed more than 4 clubs in this league.

I know the above list has two Manchester clubs, and pre-Man City billionaire this would be a no-go, but you can't leave either of the two out now, can you?

Furthermore, the current moneymaking rules are very 80s. Clubs are losing all the internet money from opening the game viewing up to people like me. For ten years I've been watching online, because that's the only way for me to see the games. Why are clubs 10 years behind in capturing this revenue stream? A new league gives new opportunity to sort this out.

Kroenke might need to spend money to make money here. We need to re-establish ourselves as a "big team" or else we'll be competing with the likes of Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham for the Premier League title every year.

Why spend the money to be a "maybe"?

This is why PSG was purchased - they will be in the league for sure.

You can pretty much guess where the billionaires will buy next. Germany, another French club, Italy, Celtic, Ajax for diversity to get those nations involved. Maybe a Russian club too. Galatasary and Olympiakos?

A billionaire buying any of the above would gain entry to the league. Buying Tottenham is very risky. I think they missed out already.

history, fan base, marketing potential, no wonder the Chinese wanted to buy them
