when he starts winning us points/matches or is capable of being regarded as a world class keeper we can talk of him being a worthy no.1

if you go down the list of keepers of the teams that have won the league I think only barthez is questionable. chesney may be a good keeper but he wouldnt be no.1 at any of our rivals.
