it's the only thing that matters. Of course you get in when you win PL or CL anyway, but that just a minor additional status symbol now.
Not winning the CL: meh. Not qualifying is huge.


My initial post was just a bit silly. I don't think even our board would want to organise any official celebrations around finishing 4th.

He's right on that score but I wish they'd call CL Qualification an objective of paramount importance rather than a 'trophy' , which is always open to ridicule.
