I believe that politicians or other public figures should think a second time before making statements that indirectly link God with rape. Believe it or not, being a parent, I have very mixed feelings about abortion and condemn the idea of late term abortions when the baby is close to being viable. However, I can sympathize with a rape victim who has become pregnant not wanting
to become a mother under such circumstances. She would be reminded
