to drop off their kids and leave. One such person decided to reverse out of the car park, missed the pavement ramp altogether and went straight into the lamp post. It wasn't even a clip of the lamp post, it was the centre of the bumper that got damaged.

Was the driver

a) a man?
b) a woman?

Said driver and accompanying passenger then got out of the car and tried to figure out how this could possibly happen.

reversing a car into a lamp post has more to do with incompetence than the size of the car, shirley? A competent driver could have reversed a van out of there without any problem.
