Great film, good performances from the cast, good plot, superb direction from William Friedkin & I don't I'll ever be able to look at KFC the same way again.

Kind of like Tennessee Williams meets the Coen Brothers, good stuff.

I've not seen the new Allen one, no. I had avoided his stuff for decades until I happened across Vicky, Christina, Barcelona which was enjoyable despite being just as contrived as most of his films.

Shame really, as some of his early stuff was genuinely brilliant.
