View Full Version : I traded you lot in to volunteer at the local court and I do have to say it's taught me two things

1. Crack-smoking folks make more sense than you lot.

2. I should have volunteered at an allotment like the bubble did

did you still have to go door-to-door telling everyone you lived in their neighbourhood?

I sit on a court-appointed review board that decides where at-risk black and hispanic kids from the worst neighborhoods are placed. Neglect is #1 issue, physical abuse #2, sexual abuse much less prevalent than those two, but really difficult to place a kid afterwards as the trust issue is much worse than with #1 and #2.

advantage out of people offering help, and have become very skilled and persuasive when describing black as white. And, getting incensed when they don't get what they want or feel they need. Sad, really, but it's dangerous and exhausting, whereas AWIMB is just exhausting, infuriating, and, very occassionally, hysterical. You may be getting me back.
