one was a convicted criminal with a record longer than his arm (couldn't resist), the other wasn't. You are right that the "popular" decision was made in both cases but it may just be the case that it was popular because it is right.

They couldnt make all of those cases stand up. Makes a mockery of the british justice system. Not to mention all of the retrofitted charges against him that the US suddenly came up with.
