Hoping to do some tiger fishing in Botswana next year.

You Aussies may have some bad f**kin snakes, but as far as freshwater goes I dont think that you have much to compare with tigers.

Or do you??

I'm **** using spinner reels and not having much joy with fly fishing.

I prefer bait casting reels, myself. Can put a lure through a polo if need be.

Can use lures on bombies near the surface. I use lures when I chase the mighty Barramundi, Northern Australias premier fish.

They were deep down too. f**ked up, it was. Just drop the line until it hits bottom, then reel it up a bit off the floor, and bang! and that was it. No fight...nothing. Never again.

I've heard plenty about the barramundi. Wouldnt mind fishing for some of them http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/nod.gif
