Those folks are normally proud of what they do. I've spoken too many of them over the years, for research purposes, and they are at least as knowledgeable about their fancy as I like to think I am about mine.

Staffs and Pits, in fact most bull breeds are very kid friendly. The problem is that they do have an aggressive instinct that needs to be trained out of them, or at the very least, not encouraged by their owners http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif

Anyway, you've got it backwards; you don't train stuff out of them, you select only the ones that don't have those things you don't want in the first place.

The Bull breeds are no more aggressive than any other. Certainly less so than the terriers they were originally mixed with to make them (the terriers) less of a handful.


Dog training is really just a money-making racket.
