The ones i cant live with are the dishonest ones, where they either completely bottle the decision, cave in to pressure or are trying, in some way, to even things up.

Notice at 4-0 at newcastle dowd totally abdicated, wouldnt giveus a thing. He thought the game was getting embarrassing and felt heshould give newcastle a bit of slack. He gave barton free reign which led directly to the events that turned the game. Nothing else can explain two or three monumentally absurd decisions late in the first half.

Durkin was an odd one. He could be an excellent ref but on his day was capable of mind boggling decisions.

I let him off the gio decision for his performance at old trafford in 02 in the title winning game. United came out kicking and he booked four of them in the opening half hour. They had no choice but to back off. 90% of refs would have bottled that.
