For good. Hamilton is not going to the Silver Arrows for the money, apparently, but for the challenge.

If only there were top, top footballers who wanted to play for Arsenal for 'the challenge'. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/indifferent.gif

i think he would be amazing as the lone striker for us, he has the pace, height, touch, finishing.... i thought that would have been an interesting option for wenger to try

if we gave him an interesting sporting challenge.

i remember he said he wanted to go to milan in the summer and was willing to go down in wages, rather than be benched for real however milan made a ridcules offer, something like 60k a week......

he is on 150k a week, 100k a week and he was theirs....we could offer tham imo....specially with RVP gone...wouuld have been a huge lift for everyone at the club to

when someone who has a pedigree walks though that door, its exiting, you want to impress him, your level of focus goes up, training becomes more exiting....and you do learn stuff no manager can teach you from special players as you listen to them in a manner you listen to nobody else

and temperal benefit. Like the sugar rush of a fry up on a hangover which provides temporary respite/satisfaction but by the end of the day has made you feel even worse.

You sign a player to improve your squad (or to sell shirts in Thailand).

thats more than enough for me.

arteta is 29 and has transformed our midfield by brining professionalism and focus.

benayoun was 31 when we got him last season after we lost nasri , and he was very good for us, we wouldn't have made 3rd without him.

after we lost RvP, i know for a fact there wasn't a ready made striker for decent price we could have got, thats why abit of creativity in the market and getting someone like KAKA to play upfront would have been a genius short term solution...while getting a younger striker on the cheap to be our nr 9 in the long term.
