and knocked it into Ramsey's path, a la Micky T's goal at Anfield.

backing into the defender, bending their knees as if they're about to embark on some kind of Olympian physics-defying feat of nature,

Giroud literally just stood there and let it hit his head. Football simplicity at its finest.

I do worry though that he could suffer from Berbatov syndrome in terms of his body language and the impression it gives to thick football fans.

Anyway, Berbs was fine until he joined Manchester United, especially at Leverkusen.
