I know not everyone has written him off - but it seems a fair few have.

Especially given the pedestal of intelligence and knowledge he has built and installed himself on.

He criticises the retarded opinion of the normal football supporter then spouts *******s like the above.

Fans may have sworn a little at easy chances he has missed, could in theory be 3 points better off but for his profligance in front of goal.

That's not to write him off. I will have called him a c**t on saturday for example but have no doubt he will come through.

It's f**king normal.

All of the chances he's missed have oddly similar, so I'd like to see him in different situations infront of goal.

Perhaps he lacks he athleticism required to get your body right for thos kind of chances. He certainly looked ungainly in his efforts so far.

Now Podolski, I do like. I read a German pundit say he was great in the box, mediocre outside it. If that's mediocre... http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/yikes.gif

The first time that back five played together?

To fall back on and thisis a huge step up for him. A bit likekoscielny, he is quite young for his age, if you see what i mean.

He will get a lot better but i do wonderif heis really the type of player we need, regardless of quality.

Podolski is unspeakably wonderful. When he is Fully settled and integrated with the team he will be an absolute star. For me he already is. Lovely, lovely player.
