In truth, most people probably can't remember a thing about how he plays

Great player for England, but no better then others already in the Arsenal team. Still developing, hardly the finished article.

he didn't run the midfield at home to Barca against Xavi, Biscuits et al. You were dreaming.

England's problems, though plenty in the media have pointed out that this is ridiculous too

I don't understand the thinking of playing him, and then batting him at 6.
He opens or bats at 3 in T20 for Essex, and has done the same for England. In fact, against the Windies he batted at 3 and him and Hales won the game with a massive stand. I know he was out of touch, but if that's the case don't pick him.
England seriously f**ked up their decision making on selection in that tournament. I would have gone with Bresnan or Lumb, depending on whether you wanted to replace Ravi's 2 overs or his batting.

wouldn't have even minded Briggs in there - Buttler at 6 is hardly a weak link. Oh well, pyjama cricket, not really that bothered

I said he is a great player, but he is hardly going to make us premier league winners on his own.

if he comes back at the same level (after a while obviously), fantastic. I suppose, physically, TV has come back the same after a similar time out.

We shouldn't be putting all our hopes into a player who hasn't played first team football for over a year. Similar with Diaby, anything extra from those 2 is a bonus.

i have no doubt about that. Jack does the simple things well and works very hard. Think Ox if he stays injury free for a few years while he develops could be a huge player.

24 balls more than I've seen tbf. Didn't even realise we were playing on Saturday until someone told me we had won at about 1.30am. It is Oktoberfest here though http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif
