In the phase prior to that moment, the Galway forward was clearly being fouled by two Kilkenny defenders and the ref gave nothing. The Galway man somehow evaded the two fouling defenders and released the ball which eventually led to the goal. It was a f**king disgraceful call and at the most crucial time in the game. Had the goal stood there was 1pt in it, Kilkenny lifted by such an injustice ran riot. Different game if the green flag went up though.

It highlights the whole issue of refereeing in GAA - i thought football was bad but it was not good today. There was nothing wrong with the goal!!!
