Agreed, they also looked vulnerable, defending set-pieces. Extra height of Mertesacker would have caused them more probs.

Not worth crying over, but certainly I've seen goals disallowed for that kind of foul - pushing with 2 hands and then pushing off to get around the side to reach the ball

I can see Drogba doing that to a CB. But Kos should have been much stronger against Torres. Real shame, because aggressively attacking the ball, has been one of the features of our defending so far this season.
