after the taxi driver had helpfully educated me that despite the address I gave him, the hotel was not in fact located in Grafton Street. This was after he made a point of pointing out that the "**** head" British used to use the bank building as their parliament. Then he had a go at me for not telling i wanted to pay by credit card until we had arrived at our destination.

The taxi drivers here are the lowest form of humanity, quite the rudest people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with here. Thankfully when I do I am normally 3 sheets to the wind.

Westbury is very nice and yes as you say not strictly on Grafton Street, having said that every taxi driver in the city should know this.

You were very close to my office, I pass said hotel each day. I could have waved.

Paul Weller always stays in that hotel when he plays in Dublin you know.

Tourist trap, you may have noticed a statue outside of Phil Lynott that looked absolutely nothing like Phil Lynott.
